The Yanmar 6LP Series Alternator Mounting Bracket Kit is required to safely run a Super High-Output Alternator, like the GenMAAX Series of alternators, on a Yanmar 6LP Series engine!
This kit includes a new, stronger alternator saddle mount bracket, that replaces your original bracket, and a belt tensioner assembly that allows you to keep your front engine cover.
With this kit you can safely, and securely, run a super high-output alternator on your engine to substantially reduce charging time.
This kit is typically sold with one of our Yanmar, SM mount GenMAAX high performance alternators and has been thoroughly tested for optimal performance and reliability.
